Objective: Students will work in teams to determine possible solutions to Stews dilemma. The problem is designed to address such topics as: similar triangles, Pythagorean theorem, proportions/ratios, rates, finding degree measures of angles formed by parallel lines and transversals, and the number of degrees in the turning of a vehicle. At the end of the lesson students will present their possible solutions to the class.
