STEM Partnership Goals
2007-2010

The following is a list of Goals for the STEM Partnership.

Goal #1
Increase student achievement in mathematics and science.

Goal #2
Increase the development and implementation of effective instructional strategies for all students including interventions targeted to reach at-risk students.

Goal #3
Improve the teacher’s content knowledge of mathematics, science and technology.

Goal #4
Develop more rigorous mathematics, science and/or technology curricula that are integrated and aligned with State and local academic content standards and with the standards expected for postsecondary study in engineering, mathematics, and science.

There are multiple ways participants can get involved in the STEM Partnership. There are varying degree of participation but the goal to increase teachers’ content knowledge and students’ achievement remains. There are 8 Primary Enrichment Opportunities Associated with the STEM Partnership:
