Vex Robotics Learning Experiences for the Classroom

This two-week workshop is designed for new and experienced teachers interested in using the Vex Robotics System. The focus of this workshop is to prepare teachers to use the robotics system in the classroom. Topics to be covered include mechanics, special structures, and programming. Teachers will produce a lesson that can be used with the Vex System. They should leave the workshop with the confidence to present this system to their students. The material covered will supplement the information gained through training on the TETRIX system.

Although the Vex System is no longer the official
US FIRST system, there will be smaller challenges/competitions held throughout the school year. The intent of the challenges/competitions is to increase student participation.
